what should i do- job hunting..?

I am interviewing on Wednesday (it’s Monday today) for this job as a market research analyst – a job I really want. But I just got a call from a bank that I applied to to set up an interview time with them for a teller position. Obviously the teller job is less than what I want to do, but I’m afraid if I don’t call back right away, the job will be taken in a few days. On the other hand, I don’t want to call back the bank, in case I have to wait a few days from Wednesday to hear back about the other job. What do I do? I want this bank job if the other one falls through… but I might not know that for a while…

Call the bank and set up an interview with them. don’t tell them that you have other interview, they already know that you are looking for a job. The bank will probably not make a decision immediately either. One you finish your interview on Wednesday make sure to ask by when will they be making a decicion this way you have an idea. Also send a thank you email or letter for the interview. If the bank offers you the job before the other place, accept it and if the 2nd company offer you a job as well then give thanks to the bank and tell them that a better opportunity was made available to you.
